U.S. Trade Balance Beats Analyst Expectations

- The U.S. trade balance rose less-than-expected last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said that U.S. trade balance rose to a seasonally adjusted -42.40B in August, from -43.70B in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected the U.S. trade balance to decline to -42.70B last month.
